National Ceili Dance Seminar

National Dancing Seminar – 29th November, 2009

A seminar will be held at Clasac, Alfie Byrne Rd, Clontarf, Dublin on Sunday the 29th Nov `09. This is a national seminar on the promotion of dance in Comhaltas. It is hoped that a programme will be put in place for the development and promotion of dance over the next number of years. It is important to point out that this seminar will not deal with competition or adjudication issues as these matters are being dealt with separately. We would like to see Co. Boards/Branches/teachers/tutors of dance represented on the day. Also we would like to invite anyone who is a promoter of dance along on the day.
I would like to advise that competitions for 4 hand & 8 hand Céilí Dances will be held at Fleadhanna with All Ireland Finals in Cavan at Fleadh na hÉireann. See attached rules below
