The Awbeg Céilí band from Newport, Co. Tipperary with a hornpipe: “Across the Fence” composed by Brendan McGlinchey. The music was recorded at the 2008 Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Tullamore.
Band members are: Maireád Fitzgibbon, Tara Breen and Aileen O’Callaghan, fiddles; Siobhán Hogan and Eamon Moloney, flutes; Brendan Clancy, banjo; Rory McMahon, concertina; Alan Finn, button accordion; Francis Ward, piano and Noel Clancy on drums.
