One of the highlights of the Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, was the performance of the Toyota Céilí Band from Tokyo, Japan. Here the band plays a selection of reels - “The road to Rio” (Seán Ryan) and “Miss Lyons”, a remarkable performance with just eight out of the potential ten band members. Band members are Marika Numashita, Emiri Gondo and Mana Okubo on fiddles; Kozo Toyota and Tomoyo Sugai on flutes; Chihiro Tanaka on button accordion; Tomomi Oda on piano and Yuri Kitagawa on drums.
