512.1 In Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, the Maree Céilí Band from CCÉ, Oranmore, Co. Galway, play a Hornpipe - “Murphy’s hornpipe”. Band members are Siobhán Keane, Ronan Flaherty, Doireann Glackin and Harry Giles on fiddles; Pádraic Keane and Cillian Boyd on flutes; Conor Connolly, accordion; Peadar Giles, pipes; Jack Talty, piano and Benny O’ Connor on drums.

512.2 Caoimhe Millar, CCÉ, Inis Cathaigh, Co. Clare, plays a Reel when taking 2nd place in senior button accordion competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.3 A group of 18 musicians from DCU Trad Society in Dublin play a selection of Jigs commencing with “Hammy Hamilton’s”, recorded on 1st December 2016 in Dublin City University. Sincere thanks to Professor Daire Keogh, Deputy President DCU, and to Dr John Buckley, Music Lecturer in Dept. of Theology, Philosophy and Music at DCU, for their very kind invitation and for their help and courtesy. Thanks also to Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín and Paul O’ Sullivan for organising the recording and for making it such an enjoyable occasion. See also Comhaltas Live 507 to 510. 512.4 Bláithín Kennedy from Ormond CCÉ, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, plays a Reel “Red Tom of the hills” (Ed. Reavy) in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.5 The selection played in 15-18 Grúpaí Ceoil competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 by St. Roch’s Grúpa Ceoil from CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Glasgow, Scotland.

512.6 From CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Glasgow, Scotland, Breanna Wilson and Jamie Conway play “The Monaghan jig” when taking 3rd place in 12-15 Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.7 Aidan Kelly and Oisin Seaney from CCÉ, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, play a Reel in 12-15 Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.8 A selection of Reels “Lucy Campbell’s” and “Liffey banks” played by the Indianapolis Céilí Band from CCÉ, Murphy Roche Irish Music Club, Burr Ridge, IL, USA, in the senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Band members are Madeleine Willard, Tricia Frasure and Conor Sheldon on fiddles; Dimitri Alano and Kell Chole on flutes; Ed. Delaney on button accordion; Robyn Jedlica on concertina; Mario Joven on banjo; Caitlin Foster on piano and Ron Fife on drums.

512.9 Four members of the Crossfields Céilí Band, All-Ireland 15-18 champions for 2015 and 2016, play a selection of Jigs “The stormy night” (Paddy O’ Brien) and “A visit to Ireland”. Recorded in their local Freemount Comhaltas Centre, Co. Cork, on 20th November 2016, their Tutor is Alan Finn. The musicians are L/R Emma Moynihan, Shane Curtin, Hannah O’ Flartery and Liam Moynihan.

512.10 A group of seven Scoil Éigse Tutors at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, play a selection of Reels “Now she’s purring” and “The Curragh races”. They are L/R Maria Lynn McHugh, Anne McAuliffe, Bríd Donoghue, Ray Mac Cormac, Micheal Ó hAlmháin, Nicky McAuliffe and Mary Tisdall O’ Sullivan.

512.11 Clare Ann Kearns from CCÉ, Killeigh, Co. Offaly, plays a Reel “Spike Island lassies” in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.12 From Funza, Colombia, Giliann Gonzalez, plays “Paddy Fahy’s Jig” in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

512.13 In 12-15 Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016, Éabha Fulton and Roisín Ní Bhriain, CCÉ, Raithean, Co. Offaly, play a Jig “Princess Nancy”.

512.14 The selection played in 15-18 Grúpaí Ceoil competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 by Craanhill Grúpa Ceoil from CCÉ, North Co. Wexford.

512.15 Winning the All-Ireland Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Darragh Curtin, CCÉ, Brosna, Co. Kerry, plays “Murphy’s hornpipe”.
