521.01 The Pearl River Céili Band from CCÉ, Martin Mulvihill, New York, USA, play “Brian O’ Kane’s March” in the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Band members are - Rose Flanagan, Dylan Foley and John Reynolds on fiddles; Margie Mulvihill and Eileen Goodman on flutes; Damien Connolly and Patty Furlong on accordions; Bernadette Conneely on banjo; Hughie Boyle on piano and Ronan Mulligan on drums.

521.02 From CCÉ, Cr. Chualann, Dublin, Fiona Nic Conmara and Tim Doyle play a Reel - “M and M” in Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016, in Ennis, Co. Clare.

521.03 In Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Tigh na Coille Céilí Band, CCÉ, Craobh na Coradh, Co. Clare, play a selection of Reels - “Liffey Banks” and “Paddy Taylor’s”. Band members are Sarah O’ Gorman, Denis Liddy and Dónal Ó Críodán on fiddles; Marian Curtin and Eamonn Cotter on flutes; Derek Hickey, accordion; Frances Cunningham, concertina; Liam Flanagan, banjo; Elvie Miller, piano and Séan Griffin on drums.

521.04 Taking 3rd place in Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Alannah Ní Chíosáin, Lisa Mulvihill and Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine from CCÉ, Leac Snámha/Cr. an Aghascaigh, Co. Kerry, play a Hornpipe - “The plane of the plank”.

521.05 The Herschel Arms CéilI Band, CCÉ, East London, plays a selection of Polkas in Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2016 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Band members are Sam Proctor, Angela Brooks and Laura O’ Grady on fiddles; Orlaith McAuliffe and Catherine O’ Grady on flutes; Steve Prosol on accordion; Brogan McAuliffe on concertina; Tim O’ Dowd on pipes; Colin Dongle on piano and Jack Boyle on drums.

521.06 A group of 8 musicians recorded at a session in John Finan’s pub in Charlestown, Co. Mayo on 24th July 2017. The musicians are L/R Junior Davey, Paul Waldron, Richard Waldron, Eddie McDermott, Connie Gildea, Mick Loftus, James Murphy and Ann Marie McGowan.They play 3 Reels - “Jim Donohoe’s”, “Master’s return” and “Love at the endings” (Ed. Reavy). Sincere thanks to Joe McGowan who organised the session at which many items were recorded and will be included in future programmes.

521.07 Recorded at the Nenagh Castlefest, Summer Festival Concert on 30th June 2017 in the Arts Centre, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, a selection of Jigs played by L/R John McEvilly (Mayo) and Laura Beagan (Monaghan) on fiddles, DaithI Gormley (Sligo) on accordion and Marie Walsh (Galway) on piano. The Jigs are “The wandering minstrel” and “Tell her I am”.

521.08 A group of 9 musicians recorded at a session in John Finan’s pub in Charlestown, Co. Mayo on 24th July 2017.
