In Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ceoltóirí Crosskeys Céilí Band from CCÉ, Loughbeg, Co. Antrim, play a March - “Máirséal Máirtín”. Band members are - Maria Mitchell, Kate McSherry and Martin Agnew on fiddles; Seána Agnew and Leona Neeson on flutes; Lauren Hegarty and Eimhear Mulholland on accordions; Maireád Mitchell on concertina; Maeve Close on piano and John Agnew on drums.

Taking 2nd place in Senior Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Muireann Hickey and Lisa Shine from CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin, Co. Limerick, play a Hornpipe - “Fly by night”.

In 12-15 Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017, Craanhill Céilí Band from Co. Wexford, play a Reel - “Forget me not”.

Eugene McKenna, CCÉ, Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, plays a Hornpipe - “The Queen of the West”, in Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Eugene is a member of the Blackwater Céilí Band who tied for 2nd place at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017. The band is one of the many major attractions featuring on the Gig Rig at the Tyrone County Fleadh Cheoil 2018 being held in Dungannon on the weekend 22nd to 24th June 2018.

In 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Róisín Nic an Bhreitheamh, CCÉ, Gort na mBó, Mayo, plays a Reel - “Trip to Durrow”.

The New York Céilí Band from CCÉ, Coleman-O’ Grady, USA, play a selection of Jigs - “The pipe on the hob” and “The green forest” - in Senior Céilí Band competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare. Band members are Erin Loughran, Maeve Flanagan and Jake James on fiddles; Mary Kate Carolan and Katie Shine on flutes; Séagda Coyle, accordion; John Redmond, concertina; Daniel Neely, banjo; Krista Charles, piano and Michael Fee on drums.

Members of the 3-in-a-row All-Ireland winning Shandrum Céilí Band from Co. Cork, Mairéad Fitzgibbon and Alan Finn, with bouzouki accompaniment by Fionn O’ Hanlon, play a selection of Jigs - “By golly”, “The humours of Ballingarry” and “The rambler”. Recorded in their native Freemount, Co. Cork, on 11th March 2018.

All-Ireland Senior Button Accordion champion for 2016 Vincent Murphy from Ballyfad CCÉ, Co. Wexford, plays a Reel in the 2017 competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Recorded at the North American Comhaltas Convention in April 2018 at Hilton Hotel, Chicago, USA, Catriona Byrne and Rich Chiuppi play the 5-part Slip Jig - “The choice wife”. They are members of The Academy of Irish Music in Chicago under the Direction of Noel Rice. Note the acting skills of their fellow musicians and colleagues at the beginning and end of the performance ! Many thanks to them all (and Noel) for making the occasion such an enjoyable one. Members of the band are - Ciara Ní Bhriain, Conor Leavy and Michelle Foy on fiddles; Oisín Morrison, Iarla Mac Gabhann and Eibhlín Ní Shúilleabháin on flutes; Séamus Tiernan on accordion; Sárán Mulligan on concertina; Seán Ó Casaide on piano and Fintan Hackett on drums.
