Louth, Caroline Ní Chathasaigh, Martin Power and Shane Scanlon, play three Jigs - “The Powder Mills” (which is one of Martin’s many compositions), “Curraghbeg Jig” (Johnny McCarthy) and “The Blarney pilgrim”. They are members of CCÉ, Niall Ó Cathasaigh, Ballincollig, Cork, and Martin was honoured with the “Ard Ollamh Award 2018” in recognition of his enormous contribution to Irish traditional music.
