ComhaltasLive #565_15:Martin Power,Caroline Ní Chathasaigh and Shane Scanlon
Two lovely Polkas composed by Martin Power, called “Coolyduff Polka” and “How many men are u now ?”. ( Note, from the intro, the challenge in getting the pronunciation right ! ). Martin, who has composed many tunes, was honoured with the Comhaltas “Ard Ollamh Award 2018” in recognition of his enormous contribution to Irish traditional music, and is joined here by Caroline Ní Chathasaigh and Shane Scanlon. All are members of CCÉ, Niall Ó Cathasaigh, Ballincollig, Cork.
