Recorded in their native Warrenpoint Comhaltas Branch, Co. Down on 20th November 2021.

630.02 Taking 3rd place in Senior Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Banna Ceoil Chnoc na Gaoithe, An Tulach, Co. Clare, play 2 Reels - “Geaghan’s fancy” and “The new-mown meadow”. Band members are - Fiddles: Jennifer Markham, Amy McNamara and Finbar English; Flutes: Kevin Carey and Pauric Stapleton; Accordion: Fergus Bogue; Concertina: Sarah McAuliffe; Banjo: Brian McAuliffe; Piano: Gearóid McNamara and on Drums Conor Harnett.

630.03 In the Fiddlers of Oriel Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ursula Byrne plays 3 Jigs composed by Charlie Lennon. Accompaniment is by Darren Magee. Ursula is Musical Director of Newry Trad Music School in Co. Down.

630.04 From New York, USA, Andrew Caden, Brian Gallery and Fiona Flanagan, play a Reel - “Cúlfadda” in 15-18 Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth. They are members of CCÉ, Mulligan-Quinn/Killoran-Clancy-Whelan, New York.

630.05 Taking 1st place in 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Crossfields Céilí Band, CCÉ, Cr. Chronáin, Co. Cork, play a March. This was the Band’s 3rd successive win in the competition. They are coached by Alan Finn, leader of the Shandrum Céilí Band, Co. Cork, who also won their 3rd successive Senior All-Ireland at Fleadh Cheoil 2018.

630.06 All-Ireland U-12 Fiddle Champion 2019 Laoise Kennedy from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and her sister Clodagh on Concertina play 2 Reels - “The maids of Feakle” and “Morning thrush” at a recording in The Half-Door in Nenagh on 19th April 2022. Laoise also won the recent competition “Up and Coming Fiddler of London”, and herself and Clodagh were All-Ireland Ceol an Gheimhridh Duet champions 2019. Her teacher in Nenagh is the well-known fiddle player Liz Gaughan Quinn.

630.07 A very old and rarely-heard Jig - “Friends of my heart”- played by Patrick Finley from GA, USA, in the Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

630.08 Molly and Jane Walls, CCÉ, Dromore, Co. Antrim, play the Reel - “Wissahickon Drive” composed by Liz Carroll, when taking 3rd place in 15-18 Duets competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

630.09 A fiddle solo by Aoibhín Morgan with 2 Jigs - “Don’t touch that Green Linnet” (T. Peoples) and “Adam and Eve’s”. Recorded in their Warrenpoint Comhaltas Branch, Co. Down on 20th November 2021.

630.10 In Senior Trios competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Eamonn Ó Cadhla, Tadgh Ó Súilleabháin and Ian Mac Sithigh, CCÉ, Teampall an Ghleanntáin, Limerick and Cr. Chronáin, Cork, play a Reel - “The Hill Road”.

630.11 Taking 3rd place in 15-18 Céilí Bands competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Lackagh Céilí Band from Galway, play a selection of Reels - “The humours of Ballyconnell” and The Birmingham Reel”.

630.12 Taking 3rd place in the Senior Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Sarah O’ Gorman, CCÉ, Cr. na gComarach, Co. Waterford, plays a Hornpipe - “The drunken sailor”.

630.13 When taking 2nd place in 15-18 Trios at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, Ellen, Maeve and David Scott, CCÉ, Camross, Co. Laois, play a Reel - “The red bee” (J. Liddy).

630.14 Taking 3rd place in 15-18 Fiddle competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Conor Heaphy plays a Jig. Conor is from CCÉ, Ballydonoghue/Lisselton, Co. Kerry.

630.15 At ‘Ceiliúradh Ashling’ the Special Tribute Concert celebrating the life of the late Ashling Murphy in Cultúrlann na hÉireann on Saturday 26th February 2022, the Comhaltas National Folk Orchestra, under Musical Director Tom Doorley, with “The Gold Ring Suite” starting with the Air “Port na bPúcaí”. The Concert, which was attended by Government Ministers Catherine Martin and Jack Chambers, also featured several special items and tributes as well as Macalla na hÉireann and colleagues of Ashling from her local Ballyboy Comhaltas Branch in Co. Offaly. Other items from the Concert have featured in Comhaltas Live Progs 627.01 and 628.09 and further items will be included in upcoming Programmes.
