654.01 Taking 1st place in the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Taobh na Mara Céilí Band from CCÉ, Cr. na gComorach, Waterford, play Jigs - “The Wandering Minstrel” and “The Maid on the Green”. The Band Members are : Fiddles - Sarah O’ Gorman, Conor Arkins and Seamus O’ Gorman; Flutes - Claire Fennell and Liam Walsh; Concertina - Rebecca Saich; Accordion - Joseph Mannion; Banjo - Seán Kelliher; Drums - Danny Collins and Piano - Hannah Collins.

654.02 In the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Úna McGlinchey plays a Hornpipe - “Seán Maguire’s fancy”. Úna is from CCÉ, Fintona in Co. Tyrone.

654.03 Flute player Caitlin McGrath, CCÉ, Baile Uí Choimín, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, plays her own composition - a Hornpipe “School in the Morning” followed by a Reel - “Sunny Banks”. Accompaniment is by Caitlin’s twin brother Jack on guitar. Recorded in The Half Door in Nenagh on 21st April 2023.

654.04 In the Senior Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, the full selection played by St. Roch’s, CCÉ, Irish Minstrels, Scotland, UK.

654.05 Taking 1st place in the Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Aoibhin and Lucia Morgan and Oisin Bradley play a Hornpipe - ”The Humours of Ballyconnell”. They are members of CCÉ, Rinn Mhic Ghiolla Rua in Co. Down.

654.06 In 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, Bannow Céilí Band from Co. Wexford play 2 Reels - “Lady Ann Montgomery” and “Maud Miller”.

654.07 Taking 3rd place in the Snior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Jason McGuinness from CCÉ, Tireragh, Sligo, plays a Jig - “The Mooncoin”.

654.08 “Alexander’s Hornpipe” played in the Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 by Siomha, Naoise and Art Ó Mearáin from CCÉ, Niall Ó Cathasaigh, Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

654.09 The full selection played in the 15-18 Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, by The Rolling Waves Grúpa Ceoil from CCÉ, Caisleán a’ Bharraigh, Mayo.

654.10 Naoise Kettle from CCÉ, Seán Ryan, Cill Chabháin, Co. Laois, plays a Jig - “The Woods of Caol Rua” - in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

654.11 Taking 2nd place in the 15-18 Ladies Full Set Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, CCÉ, Cill Áirne, Spa, Kerry, with their second dance. The Dancers are - Aoife and Ciara O’ Donoghue, Grace O’ Connor, Isabel Waters, Laura Fleming, Lauren Carey, Róisín and Tegan O’ Sullivan.

654.12 The Reel “Paddy Lynn’s delight” played in the Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022, by Oisín McGinley, P.J. Bruce and Tomas Campbell from CCÉ, West London, London and Southern, UK.

654.13 A Hornpipe - “Felix in Paris” - played in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 by Fiachra Mac Aodha, CCÉ, Cr. Seán Treacy, Dublin.

654.14 Note how multi-instrumentalist William Holmes captures the diverse, but very interested audience with his rendition of the Reel - “Two Days to go” - at this session in The Greville Arms Hotel at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

654.15 A Selection of 3 Jigs played by Noel Stapleton who took 3rd place in the Senior Button Accordion Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2022. This selection was recorded in The Heritage House in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, in January 2023 with guitar accompaniment by Ciarán Campbell. They are both members of CCÉ, Seán Ryan, Cill Chabháin, Co. Laois and the Jigs are - “The Pipe on the Hob”, “The one after it” and “Langstrom’s Pony”.
