663.01 Taking 1st place in the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar, Pipers Cross Céilí Band from CCÉ, Cr. an Chiosdellibhe/Róisín Bn Uí Cheallaigh, Mayo, play Reels - “Lucy Campbell’s” and “The New Mown Meadow”. Band Members are - FIDDLES : Caoimhe Kilkenny, Eoghan Hughes and Paul Clesham; FLUTES : Cian Kilkenny and Conor Maheady; ACCORDION : Davog Freyne; CONCERTINA : Edel Fleming; BANJO : Aodhán Hughes; PIANO : Eoin Walsh; DRUMS : Ryan Maguire.

663.02 Having taken 2nd place in the Senior Sean Nós Dancing Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar, Ava Glancy dances a Reel, repeating her All-Ireland performance, in her native Ballymote at the Paddy Killoran Annual Festival in September 2023. The Festival was a wonderful celebration of the Branch’s amazing level of success at the Fleadh with seven 1st places. In all, the County had 13 All-Ireland medallists in 2023, with eight of the All-Ireland medallists now providing the music (“The Duke of Leinster”) for Ava’s dance. They are L/R Lisa Golden, Gervase Carty, Aaron Glancy, Amy Cullen, Shauna Cullen, Sinéad Johnson, Conor McDonagh and Ryan Sheridan.

663.03 From Keady CCÉ, Co. Armagh, taking 3rd place in 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Cadhla Tohill and Danú McKinney play a Hornpipe - “The Standing Abbey”.

663.04 In 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, the Seven Septs Céilí Band from CCÉ, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, play a selection of Reels ending with “Larry Redican’s”. Isn’t Francis McDonald blessed with his wonderful friends who protect him from getting too distracted from the lovely music !

663.05 At the Scoil Éigse Tutors Concert at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Tutors Eileen Gannon, Eimear Arkins and Pádraig Rynne play Jigs - “Pat McKenna’s” and “The Sunny Hills of Beara”.

663.06 Taking 2nd place in the Senior Trios Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Aodh Mac Murchaidh, Jude Ó Cuaig and Tomás Ó Ceallaigh play a Reel - “The Steeplechase”. They are from CCÉ, Ring of Gullion/Silverbridge, Armagh.

663.07 From CCÉ, Lackagh, Galway, Sinéad Duggan plays a Jig - “The Monaghan Jig” - in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar.

663.08 The Selection played in the 15-18 Grúpaí Ceoil Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar, by Ards CCÉ, Co. Down.

663.09 All-Ireland Senior Trios Champions 2023, Sinéad Johnson, Conor McDonagh and Ryan Sheridan from Paddy Killoran CCÉ, Ballymote, Co. Sligo, play 3 Reels - “Aughamore” (Ed. Reavy), “The Teetotaler’ and “The Sailor on the Rock”. Recorded on 15th September 2023 at the Annual Paddy Killoran Festival in Ballymote.

663.10 In the 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Eabha Gavaghan (fiddle) and Siobhán Rouse (flute), play a Slip Jig - “Land’s End”. They are from CCÉ, Leeds, Northern Region, UK.

663.11 Taking 1st place in the Senior Fiddle Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Ademar O’ Connor, CCÉ, Edenderry, Co. Offaly, plays a Reel - “McGlinchey’s” (Brendan McGlinchey).

663.12 A newly-composed March - “The Campbell Coakley March” - played by St. James the Great Ceilí Band from Scotland, in the Senior Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023. The March was composed by accordion player Michael Dudgeon. Band members were - FIDDLES : Megan Goldberg, Eilidh Patterson, Jacqueline Deveney and Rebecca Flood; FLUTES : Gemma Blevins and Niamh Deveney; ACCORDIONS : Michael Dudgeon and Mairi Molloy; PIANO : Kiera Simpson; DRUMS : Patrick Deveney.

663.13 In the Senior Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Cathal Greene (accordion) and Ciaráin Slattery (banjo), CCÉ, Ballycommon, Co. Tipperary, play a Reel - “The Leitrim Lilter”.

663.14 Taking 3rd place in 15-18 Céilí Bands Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023, Crossfields Céilí Band, CCÉ, Cr. Chronáin, Cork, play the multi-part Jig - “Cherish the Ladies”.

663.15 From St. Paul, MN, Minnesota, US, Claire Vanorny (fiddle) and Ginger Anderson (flute), play a Reel - “Travers” - in the 15-18 Duets Competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
