Logging in

Go to https://comhaltas.ie/my-account/ and login with your branch login details.

You should be direct to a page entitled Your Comhaltas Dashboard

Adding Branch Page Administrators and Managing Permissions

Depending on your level of permissions, you may not see all the options on the left hand menu. e.g. not everyone will be able to see Orders or finance details

For people with the higher level permission – you can add new staff by going to Staff and clicking the Add new staff button:

Add in the name and contact details of the staff member and click Create staff

They will be added to the list of staff. From this list find their name and click the Manage Permissions link underneath

Here you can tick what they can have access to on the Dashboard

To set up the new user’s password go back to the list of names and click the Edit link

Add in a new password for them, remembering to save it so send to them

Editing Branch details

To edit the details of your branch, including Name, address, contact, description and associated images. Go to Settings > Store

Images

You can add / edit a banner that sits at the top of the Branch page and a Profile Picture which sits in a small square.

If you don’t upload any images, your Branch will show a green gradient shaded thin banner and the CCE logo as the profile picture e.g.

The recommended smallest sizes for these images are:
Banner: 650px x 300px
Profile Picture: 600px x 600px

Address

Edit the address of the Branch in the fields provided

Map

The pin on the map does not need to match the address exactly, this is for privacy. Please note that people will only be able to zoom in to a certain level and Street View is switched off for site visitors.

To move the pin; drag and drop the red icon:

Telephone number and email address

Both the telephone number and email address can be hidden from the front end users of the site by unticking a box

If the Email checkbox is not ticked then people will only see a contact form

These messages will be emailed to the Branch Secretary.

Biography

Edit the text in the biography field, you can also add more images here by clicking the Add Media button at the top.

Left or right align the images by selecting the image and clicking the left or right align icon which will appear at the top

This will create the most aesthetically pleasing layout.

Social media links

To edit the Branch social media links go to Settings > Social Media Links

Opening hours

You can set Branch opening hours or even when you are away

Products

If your Branch sells products (this also includes events, classes and membership as well as physical products), upload them via the Products tab and click Add new product

Enter the details of the product, there are many options but you don’t need to fill in all of the fields.

If you are not sending out a physical product (e.g. a class or membership) , make sure to tick Virtual

A Simple product is when you have one product for sale at one price. This will be the most common used option.
A Variable product is when you would have different versions of a product such as clothes sizes or colours.
An External product is when you are selling on another platform such as Amazon or if you have your own website store.
A Group product is a bundle such as 5 books for a set price.

You can offer discounts and set them for a set period of time

Add an image to represent your product – remember that text within images is best avoided unless you spell out the text somewhere else or within your alt text. More about accessible images.

Set the category of your product

Write a short and long description for your product

You can use the Inventory Stock control area if you had a class with a set number of places. If you set a Low Stock threshold, there can be a “Selling fast” style badge appear when bookings reach this level.

You can set the Geolocation to a different place e.g. if the class takes place somewhere other than the Branch address. Untick Same as store and move the pin or search for the address.

There are various tax options and options to link and upsell products.

To edit your Postage and Shipping rates go to Settings > Shipping

Duplicate products

You can easily Duplicate a product you have previously made to save you time by clicking the Duplicate link on the list of products.

Use product templates

Select Add existing product and select from the template such as Membership, this is when you know details will be very similar and just need

Orders and payments

If you have permissions to see the orders and payments you will find these under Orders on the left hand side, this will include all your members.

To edit where payments are sent, go to Settings > Store and scroll down to the bank details fields

Support

You can offer a Support system (separate from the standard contact form) by going to the Settings > Store

Here you can enable Support and edit the text which appears on the button.

If you Enable Support, a button will appear on the branch and product page:

When the help button is clicked a small form appears for the user to fill in

Your Support tickets will all be saved under the Support tab on the left hand side.
