Apart from its Head Office at Monkstown in County Dublin,Comhaltas has 7 Regional Centres across Ireland located in Dublin City, Tipperary, Westmeath, Sligo, Louth, Tyrone and Clare.

The Regional Centres host music, song, dance and language classes, as well as concerts and sessions throughout the year. These centres are also home to the annual ‘Seisiún’ series each summer.

Some centres also have archive collections of local music and song or exhibitions on the folklore of the area. The Centres provide a significant resource for their area, where local communities can avail of the facilities to host meetings, classes, concerts and fundraising events.

Áras an Mhuilinn

Mullingar

The Regional Centre for the counties of Westmeath, Longford, Offaly, and Laois, Áras an Mhuilinn is a state-of-the-art cultural facility where Traditional music, dance and Irish language classes take place on a weekly basis.

Brú Ború

Tipperary

Located at the foot of the historic Rock of Cashel, Brú Ború promotes its extensive cultural programme through education, research, publications, exhibitions and performances.

Co.Sligo

Ceoláras Coleman is based in Co. Sligo and, along with the 6 other Regional Centres across Ireland, makes the Comhaltas vision to give people genuine access to the traditional arts a reality.

Clasaċ

Clontarf, Dublin

Situated just minutes from Dublin’s city centre, Clasac is a unique venue, promoting Irish music, song, dance, drama and other native art forms. The centre boasts a 300-seater theatre with several other flexible spaces for rehearsals, classes, meetings and recording.

Cois na hAbhna

Ennis, Co. Clare

Situated in Ennis, Co. Clare, Cois na hAbhna is the regional base for the western Meitheal region. It houses the Comhaltas Regional Archive in its Seán Reid Library, has a 300 seat auditorium and hosts regular Comhaltas classes, sessions and ceili dancing nights.

Dún Uladh

Omagh, Co. Tyrone

Dún Uladh is the Regional Resource Centre for the Meitheal Uladh Region and the administrative headquarters for Comhaltas in Northern Ireland. The centre hosts classes, concerts and conferences and is a vital community resource.

Oriel Centre Dundalk Gaol

Dundalk, Co.Louth

Based in the old Dundalk Gaol building, The Oriel Centre serves the five north-eastern counties of Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, Meath and Armagh.
